Episode 108

Key Points From This Episode:

  • Train everyone and anyone you can who is willing to learn how to prayer walk, how to share their testimony, how to do a discovery bible study, how to find a Person of Peace.  Train, train, train.
  • Filter for those who are implementers, who are obedient to put into practice what they’ve learned.
  • Jesus in John 6, was willing to filter for those who wanted to truly know Him for who He was, even if it meant that many fell away.
  • Matt 16:24 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.”
  • John 14:15 “If you love me, show it by doing what I’ve told you” – The Message Bible
  • Filtering involves follow-up and watching for those who apply then being willing to invest more time only in them.
  • Create a culture of follow up and obedience, of accountability.
  • Cynthia determined not to train unless there was a follow up and filtering plan in place ahead of time.
  • Be willing to stop training the over-trained and start focusing further training on the obedient.
  • Quickly turn implementers into trainers of others.
