The Christmas challenge is simply aiming for 25 days of spiritual conversations during the month of December. It’s about sharing His light and love in an intentional way with those around you. Will you believe with me for a month of powerful and winsome witness to the many who long for hope and joy? The kind only Jesus can give?
We will follow a simple format easing our way into bolder witness as the month goes along.
Some of you are amazingly creative! Consider explaining what Christmas means to you in a short video to post on social media. I’ll likely be doing that closer to Christmas Day when we are sharing our story Dec 16-20. Be sure and tag me on your post or upload it to the Christmas Challenge Facebook group if you do that! I’m excited to see what you come up with. For others, you might not be super comfortable on video and camera. That’s okay too. Do your best. God will use it!
These first five days, start the challenge by simply speaking words of encouragement and hope to those around you. Look for opportunities to compliment someone, to thank a waiter at a restaurant, or a maintenance person or teacher at your kid’s school.
Join the Christmas Challenge Facebook Group to share your challenge efforts and be encouraged by others doing the same.
I am also going to give a surprise Christmas gift to whoever makes a creative video and posts it in the group. Anyone who posts about something they are doing for the challenge in the group will get the chance to win a prize.
